The Baylor University Louise Herrington School of Nursing reimagines an existing office building as a contemporary academic environment that supports collaboration, innovation, and student success. Designed to accommodate the evolving demands of nursing education, the 146,000-square-foot facility combines active learning classrooms, faculty offices, student resources, and shared gathering spaces within a cohesive and adaptable campus.
Organized around flexible learning environments and collaborative spaces, the design encourages interaction between students and faculty while creating a welcoming academic community. Through thoughtful planning and a balanced integration of technology and human-centered design, the project provides an engaging educational setting that prepares future healthcare professionals for a rapidly changing field.
